Free train for a month?

I am sure you are all completing your NCAA Brackets. For anyone who turns theirs into us today, we are offering a free months training for your next horse if your bracket is perfect through the entire tournament. We need those brackets today. Be sure and put your name on them. If you do have a perfect bracket, you could win a million dollars somewhere else!

Less than 60 days!

There are less than 60 days to the Derby. There is a major prep every weekend somewhere in America that they can get points for the Derby since this year they are on the point system and not money won. Churchill has assigned the point value of each race. You should be starting to narrow it down to your final ten picks by now.

February was good with the stable winning 3 races total. SLUICEWAY (owners Margaux Farm, Joe Beyel, Matthew Zirwas) and BOOBY PRIZE won at Oaklawn Park while RIGAMARO won at Penn National. We exceeded $100,000 in total earnings in 2013, hopefully on the way to $2 million (wishful thinking).

We have started the month of March with a bang winning 2 races in the first three days. BLUEGRASS D’LITE won for owners Flying H Stables (Tracy & Kent Hersman) and homebred IMAGINARY ISLAND broke his maiden in New York for owner Ralph Piercy.

Oaklawn Park is half way through their meet, but there is still plenty of time to get in it. The purses are good with the bottom purse being $15,500 for $5000 claimers. It is also a great place to enjoy the races. Come on down!

Pick Six hit!

The pick six was hit on Monday at Oaklawn Park for over $500,000 by one person.

Here is a little story about Jocks Agents and their expert handicapping. About a dozen of them chipped in about $100 each on Friday and Saturday to no avail. So now they are down over $2000. On Monday they go at it again. One guy rides a lot for Donnie Von Hemel, tells the group they can single the horse he rides in the the maiden race. Von Hemel had two horses in that race that were not coupled (in Arkansas they do not couple different owner entries). Of course the other Von Hemel horse wins and blows their pick six right out of the water. So much for inside information!
