$1.6

GOAL won the 10th race yesterday at Indiana Grand taking the stables earnings over $1.6 million for the year.

New record.

We are still shooting for $2 million in 2016. Fingers crossed.

September Beginnings

Football has begun and there are already some coaches on the hot seat. (KENTUCKY, OKLAHOMA) This is interesting as the coaches just happen to be brothers.

The Buckeye’s won easy. There is going to be a lot of changes in the top ten.

Horseracing: Ellis Park ends tomorrow, which I have always thought of as the unofficial end to summer. It also happens to be the end of Saratoga, which we are running one there tomorrow in the 8th race. We have done pretty well having three starts and finishing with two seconds and a third. One second was in a stake race.

We have surpassed our beginning of the year goal in Indiana. We have gone over a million in earnings and 26 wins and still have a short two months left of racing with closing day October 29th. Now we want to kick up the goal a half million or more.

Two Wins Today

We had two wins and a second today at Indiana Grand, which was great. HOOSIER ZIP ran a great race on the grass breaking his maiden for his owners Jack Danehy, Barry Ward, Terry Ward and Penny Lauer. We moved up in the trainer ranks to #90 Nationally with $1,180,000 in winnings. 32 wins total

WHISTLE STOP (a two year old homebred filly) won her second race today. This is our second two year old (the other being CAKE POP) with two wins. So far every two year old we have ran has hit the board.

Third Stakes Race in a row-beaten by a nose

We had a win and four seconds this week (one of which was in a stake at Saratoga and we got beat another dirty nose) which has put us over a million in earnings for the year and moved us to #97 on the leading trainers of North America list. We hope to stay in the top 100. We are up to 30 wins this year.
